1994 BMW 325 clutch

I have replaced the clutch master and slave clyinder while replacing the clutch. 1. While bleeding the clutch I have no clutch pedal. The pedal goes to the floor and stays there. I have used 12oz and have purchased 1 qt of brake fluid to complete the repair. Is this normal to use so much fluid and still not have a firm pedal? There is s squeeking noise from the clutch pedal. My guess is it is the spring. I used a torque wrench to install new parts. I didnt replace the spring or plastic covers on end of spring. They were installed according to alldata. Any thoughts?

Remove the slave cylinder. Be sure there is enough fluid in the reservoir to get to the clutch. Push the rod into the slave cylinder until you feel/hear the air being pushed out. It may take several minutes and several repetitions, be patient. When you can feel resistance due to the fluid in the slave cylinder and most of or all of the air is pushed out, reinstall the slave cylinder and you should have a clutch pedal. It may take a few stomps on the pedal to get it to firm up, it will self bleed after the steps above are taken. Let me know of the outcome.

If all attempts at bleeding your clutch cylinder fail, then you may have installed your throwout bearing wrong. Unfortunately, throwout bearings for the Getrag transmissions can be installed two ways. One way works and one way doesn't because it puts the throwout bearing too far back to activate the clutch. Let's hope yours is installed correctly.
