1992 BMW 325 A/C not that cold

It works going down the road and when I am stopped it gets kinda hot. Coolant levels are fine just when sitting there.

Check the operation of the auxiliary fan, it is in front of the radiator and should come on when the A/C is on, if not, then the resistor for current limiting is suspect. It is on the fan and can be seen from the front of the car.
