all of a sudden the clutch started slipping and the biting point changed.( First thoughts were clutch gone but it is allmost as if the cable had slipped changing the biting point) made it home with a limp but now when try to engage the clutch it wont engage enough to actually allow a gear to be selected. Given that this happened all of a sudden I am hoping it is something other than requiring a new clutch. Also is it a cable or hydrolic and if hydrolic then where is the refill point?

Hello,
It is hydro on the clutch and to check level of the fliud the slave is right next to the brake master cylinder, if you have a sudden change in engaging point, you most likely lost some of the clutch plate material. Sorry about the news.
