The BCM was changed by the car owner due to no crank no start issue.
The key light was permanently on on the dash, the ignition comes on but will not crank to start. But when I put the ignition on and power it through the kick starter it would start the engine and run fine, after some tests I found an aluminum unit under the steering wheel with a 6 pin socket.
I just taped on it with a pick of metal and everything was okay.
But the trunk will not open.
But the owner said it was opening up on until the BCM was changed. Now I want to know; can it be replaced without me representing it? It it requires representing can I do it manually and how?
Any help will be much appreciated thanks in advance.

Hello,

Can I ask if the security light is flashing? Also, lets check all fuses. Here is a guide to help us get started and the fuse locations below:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Hello Ken
Thanks for the response so far but I have checked all the fuses are okay.
I have replaced the car BCM, and the engine fuse box still does not work.
The red key light flashes when the car is switched off and goes off as soon as you on the ignition but will not crank.
Just like when the gear switch is bad but what I do not know is if the car has a gear starter switch like in Toyota cars.
I cannot find any one.
Please my head is aching.
I need help.
