So both the battery and alternator tested good. I’m looking for schematics of the wiring diagram from the alternator to the fuse box and from the fuse box to the ECM. Is there anything y’all recommend trying?

Hello,

I have attached the charging system wiring schematics (look below).

What kind of issues are you having?
Does it not stay running? Does the battery drain?

Let me know a little more information.
Thank you.

It stays running but the battery light is on and can’t seem to figure out why when everything checked out fine.

Battery light gets illuminated if the alternator is not providing enough power to the battery when the engine is running.
Check to see what is the output to the battery with the engine on. If the alternator tested good off the car but it has low output on the car, this means there is a wiring issue.

Check the battery fuse. It is located in the fuse box under the hood (look below for fuse box diagram). It should be number 19, 80A.

Let me know of any questions.

It reads 12-12.4v when off and 14-14.5v when running.

So, the alternator is producing the proper voltage to the battery. So, the battery light being illuminated should be an issue with the circuit for the light. Likely it has a short and turning on the light. Was the main battery fuse good?

Yes, the main battery fuse is good and where is the circuit for the light located? If you don’t mind me asking.

It is the harness that is connected to the back of the gauge cluster.
There is a fuse in the fuse box that is located under the dash.
Check the fuse number 4, 10A. It is for the alternator. That could be the issue.

Oh, okay. Yes, I’ve checked every single fuse one by one and none of them were blown at all.

Got it. So, all you have left is to check the wiring to find the issue on that circuit. If you want to try that approach, this article might be helpful to you:
