Had just turned my truck around to heading into drive way with slight incline. Got out and went into garage. Shut overhead door and before in hit bottom I heard four loud bangs. It sounded like it came from truck. I opened the door and went back out.
I saw nothing, smelt nothing. Did not open good. Thought better to wait until morning.
Before I turned the truck around it was parked facing down hill. Did not run but maybe three to four minutes.
Any ideas?

We need more than what you supplied as it just happened but scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. Also if it still does it it may be distributor so check to see if any play in rotor if there is gear is shot on bottom of distributor and needs replacing. But a mechanic will need to use his scanner to time it other wise you will get the check engine light.
