I replaced fuel filter. Checked fuel pump ok. Itstarted after a day for about a minute then died again. I replaced distributir cap and rotor and checked some wires. It ran for a couple days then died again. Ive checked ignition module and replaced coil. It still will not start. A mechanic friend thinks it may be the computer part, but im not sure he is that knowledgable. Can you please give any ideas and help? Im very poor but give what I can. Thanks. Joe

No. It started before I replaced fuel filter. I was just hoping that was the problem but I guess it wasn't. When I replaced distributor cap and rotor because it wasn't getting a spark, it ran a couple of times then died again. So I'm thinking there is a problem with getting a spark and tested the ign module is good and new coil put in. So I don't know what to test or do next. I can't just keep replacing parts and hoped I could get a more specific part to replace. Thank you. Joe

No. He has no scanner. I'm going to see if I can buy one tomorrow. Will this help on pinpointing or at least narrowing down the possibilities of the cause of not getting a spark to the spark plugs? Also I'm not sure how to check fuel pressure but I do know that it is getting fuel to the carburetor and using that carb spray too it still does not start. So far the things checked and working good are: the distributor and rotor, the ign coil, the ign module, the crank sensor, and some other sensor was checked, I forgot what that one was called, are all working good. Other than those, I'm not sure what else to check except the computer itself and I'm hoping its not that of course cause I can't afford that part. Lol. But ill try to get a scanner 2moro, it's payday, and do that check. If any other possibilities I would be very thankful for any advice. Thank you very very much for help.
