2004 Audi A4 fuel tank not venting

My fuel tank appears to not be venting properly. Whenever I attempt to put gas into the tank, the hose clicks off repeatedly and I hear a hissing from the tank. I am only able to put in about.3 gallons at a time before it shuts off. Very frustatrating.
anyway, I am attempting to track down the vent for the tank and having a difficult time finding it. I am not sure this is the exact problem, but through trial and error, it seams to be the best guess.

Thank you for the donation.

You should be on the right track. There is a service hole under the spare wheel well under which you would find the EVAP canister.

Check for clogged or kinked lines.
