Cruise control does not work

I love my car listed above with a 1.8 turbo. Except for the electrical gremlins. My problem is that my speed control only works when it is really hot outside, and the car has been sitting in the sun for a while. I do not know how to even access it. I think it's on the right-side passenger underneath the glovebox? But who knows!

More than likely this is an issue with the cruise control vacuum pump. Within this system this is the only component that would be affected by heat. So, I suspect you have a leak in the line going from the pump to the servo.

So, we should connect the pump to a gauge and then drive the vehicle to find out if the pump is working.

The other likely cause is the servo itself.
