Am/fm stereo has lost signal and reception. I checked the back of the stereo to see if it was still plugged in and it was. Where is the antenna location to see if the problem lies there. Or could it be a fuse?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Let's first start by checking the fuses. Here is a tutorial showing how to check a fuse:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

I've attached a picture of the fuse box. The fuse box is located under hood. Check fuse location number 56 and 59. Keep us updated after performing the fuse check and we'll go from there. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like the radio turns on, but you have no reception. You asked about the antenna location. It should be on the right front fender. The cable (which is a run in cable) should go from behind the dash (glove box), then behind the right kick panel (where the passenger's foot would touch) and then into out the A pillar into the fender. To access the mast requires you to remove the inner fender.

See if you can locate the cable and follow it to see if anything is damaged or disconnected.

Let us know,
Joe

Hello again.

It sounds like you might be having a problem with the antenna isolator module. I've attached pictures below of the location and how to replace. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
