I have a message on my dash saying check charging system I have replace the battery and the alternator and is still coming up check charging system. Can it be the belt and pulley? It just happen out of no where. I was about to make a turn my lights on my dash started flickering inside the car and then it shut off. I need help.

Good morning,

Did you charge the battery with a charger? That is the first step.

Then you need to test the voltage at the battery with the engine running to see if the alternator is working.

Hey, yes I put a charge battery and it still saying check charging system. Can it be the belt or pulley? Also when I check the connector to the alternator there was no power or ground. What can that be? Is there fuse I have to check? Because I don't know what fuse to check.

What is the voltage at the battery with the engine running?

Yes, it could be but I can tell by the voltage reading. That is why I have requested this reading.
