1997 Questions for all other cars Two Wheel Drive Manual 71000 miles

I have recently had the head gasket repaired on my Rover 214. Due to this repair there is alot of oil in my water tank and I would like to flush it out. Can you please tell me the best way to do this and is there any solution I could use to help dissolve the oil and clean the system?

Hi there, sorry for the delay.

There are a few commercially available oil dispersant's available, you will have to contact your spare pates out let to see what is available wher you live. You will find it extremely hard to clear out all the oil residue, I normally have the radiator professionally cleaned and I remove the water pump and thermostat to do a full flush dont forget the heater core as well.
