1995 Montero possible missing

I have 95 Montero SR with the 3.5L and around 125K miles on it. Lately I have a problem that at around 40 mph or so and under light acceleration or going up an incline it seems to buck and jump a little like it's missing. I have to let off the throttle or step on the gas to get it to stop. I've replaced the plugs, wires, all 3 coil packs, and the fuel filter. What else could be causing this?

My 94 Montero SR is doing the same thing. I took it to my brother who is a mechanic and he said it needs a new torque convertor.
