I replaced the compressor and now there is no power to it and I can’t press the button for air ride control.

Let's start by checking the fuses # 53 and 32 in the fuse panel on the right side of the cargo compartment and fuse # 8 100 amp at the front engine compartment fuse panel.

This guide can help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Here are the air ride suspension wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. If the fuses are okay, I would swap out the air suspension control relay which is in the fuse panel under the hood as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.

Did you swap the relay out? if so, we should do a CAN scan to see if a code comes up for the automatic air suspension control unit which is under the driver's seat, in the meantime I would check the controller electrical connectors to see if there is corrosion on any of the terminals. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

and

Can I ask if any water got inside the car on the driver's side? Here is the location of the control unit so you can check it out.

Yes, I changed the relay. Nothing has been spilled in that location.

I would use this guide to help check the grounds and power for the module and if okay change out the module:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

Use the wiring diagrams above. Also did you check the connector for corrosion?

So, I changed the relay, again and now when I start the car it shuts off if I open the door or after 15 to 20 seconds of running the vehicle. This has gone from a simple air compressor job to I don’t know what else to do.

I would try a CAN scan to see what codes are stored.

Same issue I believe it’s the fuse box. I smell burnt smoke coming from the box. Everything is checking out. Seems to be overloading when the starter is engaged.

Was this car in an accident? I would check the wiring harnesses to make sure none are damaged, if not replace the fuse panel.
