This problem only is on the first time I crank my car. It takes 5 -7 minutes for the air conditioner to get cold. Then it just "turns on" and the air is very cold. For the rest of the day it works fine. But the next day only on the first crank/drive it just blows outside temperature for first few minutes.

Hello,

Is this symptom just started to happen or has it been going on for sometime?
First of all you should check to see if you have enough refrigerant in the A/C system.
Sometimes the A/C does not perform as well it should if the system is undercharged.

Here is a helpful article of how to check and add Freon:

Please let me know what you find out.

Thank you.
