I've been having problems where my car randomly lowers at random times it seems, when the key is off as if the compressor doesn't go off. After a few weeks of it doing this I fired up the car and there was no power steering and no compressor, I've looked at some forums but can't find anything about it. Are these two linked? And if so are what would it be?

Hello,

On this Town Car the air suspension and power steering both are control by one control module. So when the control modules has an issue it will impact both the suspension and the power steering.
It could make the compressor to work one day not the other. The nature of the failure is many times intermittent. But eventually it can quit all together.
Is your check engine light illuminated?
Sometimes the module can trigger the engine light.

That control module is located under the passenger side dash (see diagram below).
It can also be a wiring issue with the control module. I have attached wiring schematics.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. There’s no check engine light but the air suspension light is on. Should I replace the module? I also have a water leak that makes the back passenger floor wet. Would y’all know anything about that?

If you can scan the suspension fault code as it can point to exactly what is the issue might be with the control module.

As for the passenger floor being wet, since it is a different topic, if you would please open a new thread that way your question will be at the top for all the experts to see.
