1997 Acura TL Smoke

While sitting idle and at acceleration, I will get a poof of smoke at times, but not at all times. It seems to maybe do it more when the oil needs changing or low. The smoke is more of a blue tint I think. The car runs fine other than that.

Hi there,

this is oil burning, often with older engines they will tend to burn more oil when the are due for a service, as the oil is diluted and can by pass worn seals and poor rings easier.
