2000 Acura Integra Engine Light

I recently cut out my catalytic converter (legal here in Canada) and I'm having issues because the engine light keeps turning on (it stays on for a few days, then off again, etc.). I hooked it up to the computer and it is because of the cat, so how do I disengage the engine light from coming on at all?

Hi there,

I don't think you will be able to stop the light from coming on, as the ECU will always be looking for the input signal from the O2 sensor, and with out a reference it will trigger the code.
