Scanned it and scan tool said it was a faulty shift solenoid A. So, I replaced both transmission solenoids and filter and now the vehicle shifts but still slow acceleration. I read that I should disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to rest the computer on the vehicle. So, I reconnected the battery and still had the same problem. Checked the wiring the throttle body position sensor and everything seems fine no cracks, cuts, or anything. I also checked the wiring to the pedal position sensor and also seems good removed the air box and noticed that the when the vehicle is off the throttle body opens normally when you step on the pedal, but when the vehicle is on the throttle body does not open at all. So, I removed the throttle body, gave it a good cleaning, reinstalled it, checked the wiring harness for corrosion, and everything looked good. I reconnected the harness, tried it again and still the same thing, it's like it's stuck in limp mode. Not sure what else to do or check. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It sounds like you have a bad throttle pedal position sensor which is common. To be sure let's run the codes to see what comes up here is a guide to help us get started on fixing the problem. I have also included the throttle pedal sensor replacement instructions in the diagrams below.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Thank you for the reply. Sorry, I don't have a way to upload pictures or video at the moment, but I replaced the throttle pedal position sensor as you mentioned and still the same problem the check engine light is not on. Still scanned it anyway and no codes. So, not sure what else to check. The engine is fine, no misfires, and no knocking, just lack of power when accelerating and won't rev passed 2,000 RPMs and that's with holding the pedal all the way down to the floor. I'm not sure what else to check. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

We may need to do a deeper scan of the entire computer system. Let's do a CAN scan which is the future of automotive repair. You can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $30.00. Here is a video to show you how and a link to a scanner from Amazon:

and

Let me know.
