Hi,

I have the car listed above (C model), RWD l with 8-speed automatic transmission.
The A/C is not cooling properly in idle. It becomes less cooling until I feel it is not cooling anymore. It does not happen all the way under the same bad weather conditions and that's why I am confused. I need to know at which temperature should the cooling fan start the high speed and should it work continuously at high speed when the A/C is on. If not, how should it work with A/C on?

The second concern is the air re-circulation system. If the A/C is not in Auto mode and I am keeping the air re-circulation on to prevent external fresh air from entering my car. Is it possible that the car will open the door and override to get air from outside? Sometimes I can hear the movement of the door behind the glove box and I get bad smells from outside. Is it a problem from programming? If I decided to cancel this system by disconnecting the power from the actuators, is it going to have any problem with the system?

Regards,
Abdulrahman

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The idea that the AC doesn't stay cold when the vehicle is stopped could be a few things. First, you have to understand that engine RPM's drop at idle. Thus, the compressor isn't turning as fast. Next, if the system is a little low on Freon, it will cause this too. Here are a few links to help with Freon

Here is a link that shows how to vacuum and recharge the system:

The right way to do it is to check what both the high and low pressures. That, based on outside temp, can really answer a lot.

As far as the re-circulation door, no, it won't automatically open.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
