A/C compressor not working

I just got a new engine now my A/C compressor isn't working. Is that apart of the engine? Because I have a warranty with the mechanic.

Good afternoon,

No, it is not. The compressor is a separate system for the car. it is removed and installed during the repair but is not part of the engine.
