Last year August I had the A/C unit replaced and it was working. Now it is not working. Additionally, the A/C switch doesn’t light up when it is on. I checked and there is no Freon at all, but I was told that the Freon usually last for up to three years. Please assist.

Hello,

It all depends on the health of the A/C system. A/C systems, like every other system on this earth, will weaken with time from normal wear and tear, and start to loose some of it's integrity. This is to be expected, and should not be a cause for alarm. Your vehicle's A/C system will not operate properly without Freon in it, so it will need a recharge. But before you do that I have included a few links for you to go to down below.

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out. We are curious as to what it is.

Thanks,
Alex
