The carpet inside my car on the passenger side front and back has a black liquid that smells sour, and when the AC is on and I make a left turn it makes a rubbing noise. What could it be?
There should not be any black liquids and if what you heard is sloshing noise as if water is moving around, then most probably the black liquid is contaminated water from the evaporator. Check for clogged drain hose at the bottom of evaporator housing.

Hi there,
you will have to check & clean the evaporator drain tube,i think on these it will be at the lower portion of the fire wall behind the A/C unit it will be a short rubber tube.
