Now he is saying it is the compressor

Had a mechanic install new AC condenser fan, had bad vibration in steering wheel, seat, etc, when the AC is turned on. Turn off, no vibration. He swapped out fans saying it was defect, the second one. No change. Now he is saying it is the compressor. Not sure if I am being taken or he did not know this before. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you

He could be correct but the way to find out for sure let's run through this information. If we have other items that point to the compressor then that will just be more proof.

I suspect you will find the pressures low or not correct and the added vibration will indicate you either have a clutch that is slipping on the compressor or the compressor has become unbalanced.

Unfortunately he should have gone to this first but again he is most likely correct.
