A/C stopped working. The compressor turns and engages when the A/C is turned on but does not blow cold. The clutch seems to be working (engages and disengages with the A/C control buttons). Could something be "stopped up"? Could this be due to overcharging the system? Bad compressor even though it is engaging? Any help would be appreciated.

The short answer to your questions is, yes.

There could be an issue with each of what you stated however, I am going to suspect either the system is under charged, or the compressor has failed.

The way to figure this out is we need to find out what the pressure is on the high and low side of the system. To do this, we need to get a gauge set which you can rent for a parts store that has a tool rental program.

Once we know what the pressures are we will know what the next thing we need to check is to determine what the cause is.

Let's start with this and go from there. Thanks
