A/C does not cool?

My A/C blows cold air while traveling down the road, but hot while idling at traffic controls. A/C is on steady, it does not cycle on/off.

Good morning.

Do you have a set of gauges to test the high and low pressures? That will help me determine the issue.

Make sure the condenser and the radiator are clear of all dirt and debris. Low air flow through the condenser could be the cause. try spraying down the condenser with a garden hose and see if it gets cold.

Make sure the engine cooling fan is working properly.
