A/C not working properly

A/C blows cool in cool weather. When the weather outside reaches temperatures in the 80's and above, the A/C blows lukewarm air.

More than likely this is low on Freon. We need to check the pressures to be sure. You can rent a set of gauges from a parts store.

The is probably a leak but you may be able to just fill the system if the leak just started and that will buy you some time. Here is a guide that shows how to do that:

However, I would strongly suggest we start with the pressures just to make sure the compressor is not damaged.
