Okay so, my car would have a starting problem here and there, the first time I took off the filter on the carburetor and it started. I changed the filter after that, it is a automatic with 12a motor with a holly carburetor, which I think is too much for the 12a, it was I fine day. I changed all four tires that day, on my way to work I was blasting music and hitting it, out of no where all my power turned off for a few seconds and I noticed the engine turned off too. I pulled over and my engine would not turn over. I changed the battery, alternator and starter, still no start. I checked for fuel and compression which was all good. It was also getting a bad idle, when I slow down my car wanted to shut off. So I would put it in neutral so it would not stall. Thanks to anybody that can help me.

Yep, that is what these engines do, they lose compression and stop. Of course check for spark and try starting fluid but in the engine remove the lower spark plugs and check the compression if it below 90 psi then engine is junk.

Please let us know what happens.
