4wd doesn't work? The skid lite, the abs lite and the 4wd lite is on, was driving on reg road and those lite appeared out of no where, could this be a sensor, or fuse?

More than likely this is a not a fuse. This system uses what is called a PTU and a clutch on the rear of the drive shaft. Basically it is front wheel drive except when it determines it needs the rear wheels and then is applies them.

So we need to start with checking codes as that will tell us what the possible issues are.

Also, we need to inspect the tires and make sure they are the same size and don't have any major signs of wear. Different tire sizes can cause the module to think the smaller ones are slipping and it applies the ABS. However, it sounds like the system is disabled so more than likely we have a different issue but this should be ruled out.

Please let us know what the codes are and we can go from there.

Thanks
