Hi everyone, when I press unlock button on my key, only the driver's side door unlocks and all the three passenger doors do not unlock. I have go inside and manually open the passenger doors. All the doors get locked with the key remote. May I know what the problem could be and how much it might cost?
Thank you.

The car listed above is an LE model.

Hi,

If you press the unlock button once, that will only unlock the driver's door. If you press it a second time within a couple of seconds, it should unlock the others.

Try that and let me know if it works.

Hi,

Was any work done recently? The default setup is double press unlock for all doors, but it is possible someone changed it. However, the only way I know to do it is with a scan tool.

If you look below, I attached the procedure. Now, there shouldn't be a setting only for the driver's door, but anything is possible. At this point, I would scan to see which setting has been selected and go from there.

Keep in mind, power is provided via the body control module. The module may have a fault or need flashed (reprogrammed).

Let me know.

Joe

Thank you very much, Joe. I will get this checked to start with. This issue popped up all of a sudden 2 months ago. I hope that I wouldn't need to replace the entire body control module.

Hi,

Chances are you won't need to replace it. Something may need to be programmed.

If you have a chance, let me know what you find.
