My emergency flashers do not work. When you push the button to activate, nothing happens. My turn signals work fine. I just cannot activate the emergency flashers. Is there a separate flasher and where is the flasher located?

Thanks

Does the Hazard switch illuminate when you switch the headlights on? If not the switch may be disconnected. If it does light up then there are multiple components that are connected to the hazard switch. Here is a list of those components: The Haz switch itself, the wiring between the switch and the module the controls the exterior lights and the body control module (BCM). This BCM senses if the hazard switch is pressed and then causes all the exterior turn signal lights to flash.

Check the fuses located on the driver side lower dashboard area (do this with the engine off and accessories off) and make sure none are blown. Hope this help, let me know what you find.

Here are the fuse locations and the hazard light wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. If the fuses are good it looks like the BCM is bad. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
