2008 Nissan Altima, 2.5 4cyl, 20K miles. Intermittently accelerator failure. The accelerator does not stick adding uncontrollable acceleration, it doesn't work, nothing happens. In a moment it will then work again. Dealer says no codes, can't reproduce.

Check the MAF, try cleaning it.
Have the O2 sensors checked as well.

The best way to go about for such intermittent problem is to plug I a scan tool and monitor the sensor operations while driving to simulate the condition.
