My 2007 Honda Civic makes a knocking sound when I make a hard left turn and it shakes when I first start it in the morning until it is warmed up then it quits.

The shaking may be a engine mis-fire or a worn out engine mount. Is the engine light on? If so, you most likely have an engine misfire and need to bring it in to get it diagnosed.

The knocking sound may be a few things, balljoint, sway bar bushings or end-links or control arm bushings.
