Manual liftgate latch malfunction

The liftgate would open on its own for about two weeks. Now it gets stuck and we can't open it at all. It is a manual liftgate with touchpad.

There is a fuse and relay that control the system it sounds one is out here are guides to help you run some test and the liftgate wiring diagrams so you can see how it works with the fuse and relay locations so you can see what's going on.

I checked it out and the relay was not working I used the guide to do some testing lead me right to it. Thanks for your help this site is great!

I had the same problem it ended up being the body control module cost me $430.00 all fixed. FYI
