2007 Chevrolet Impala cranking engine will not start

While Turing the ignition engine cranks sound like it starts to fire but will not continue to fire up checked the 3 plugs close to the front of the car they are bosh platinum plugs 2 0f the plugs where wet with gas on them and black carbon and the last one was dry with black carbon on it oh buy the way the car had not been started in about 24 hr on a cold day -2 degrees in Detroit that is when the problem happen

Hi and thanks for the information I just tried the first step turning the ignition forward trying to start and leaving in the run position but the thief lock light will not stay on

Ok you'll have to scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first then auto parts rent it.

Also check fuses under hood as well as pwr trn relay switch with a like relay. If no codes come up check ignition module I think parts stores can do that for free.

I tried starting it with pedal all the way down turn the key car started right up let it run took it for a 30 min ride it started right back up so far so good

You flooded it then that's why it didn't start originally
