My check engine light came on, so I took to my mech, he said possibly vaccum leak or fuel restriction like fuel filter. Not sure if this mod has in tank filter or an external?

More than likely you have a lean code based on the check engine light and these possible suggestions.

So, we need to start with running through checking for a vacuum leak and fuel pressure which will rule out these possible causes.

Once we know what this info is, we will have a better idea as to what the issue is.

However, to answer your question, you only have a filter in the tank on this vehicle. So, you could have an issue with this, but the pressure would be low if this were the case so let us know what you find. Thanks
