Tell me more. What were you doing when it it stalled? Why did you buy a fuel pump? Did you replace the timing belt at all before this happened? How about the oil and coolant level, and engine temperature? What kind of smell from the front? From the front of where? Was it smoking? White or blue smoke, or just steam? Any noises? Does it seem to turn over now more freely, like there is less resistance? (I hope you say no to this question). Let me know, I'm here to help.
