How do I replace rear wheel bearings? Is this something I can do myself or do I need a professional?

Rears are fairly easy. Remove the caliper and rotor. Remove the center cap and nut. I believe it is a 30mm nut. Remove the hub assembly and install the new one

Roy I attached the procedure for you to remove the wheel bearings.

You will need a press to remove the bearing once you remove the hub itself.
