Can you change air temperature blend door on 2006 chevy equinox without droping steering column?

The steering column? If your really planning on the replacing the blend door you're going to take off a lot more than just the steering column, like the entire dash and HVAC housing. The flat rate on that job is 8.5 hours and that would be hard to beat for even an experienced tech.
