2005 Suzuki Forenza Wont start

My 05 forenzo wont start will turn over to where all the lights can come on and when I turn to start it just makes a ping sound battery is brand new

If that sound is loud enough to be heard some distance from the vehicle, it is likely the starter solenoid that is engaging, but there's a break in the circuit for the starter motor. Most commonly that is caused by worn solenoid contacts in the starter motor, but the same symptom can be caused by a battery cable with a bad connection. Do you have a test light and know how to use it?
