"I have a 2005 Nissan altima. My steering weel moves side to side, not actually stering it but like when it is parked I can grab it and push and pull it left and right about an inch. My ignition also moves with it. What could this be?"

There's a pair of soft metal hinge pins for the tilt wheel. One or both of them are broken and need to be replaced. Typically they have to come from the dealer to be sure you get the right ones.
