I have a '05 Galant with the 2.4 SOHC 4 cylinder. It was run and shut down. The head was milled 6000th. We reinstalled the head. The timing marks are all right, but we have a no start situation. Their is spark, but is a yellow color instead of the normal blue. Anyone have any ideas.

Yellow sparks ndicates weak sparks and this can cause a non starting situation.

Have the compression checked. If it is low, pump some oil into the cylinders and crank the engine without the spark plugs. When heads are removed, the piston rings can get dry and lose compression.

Ensure the ignition timing is correct.
