When I press down on the clutch pedal even a little bit it makes a noise of like air being released and its coming out from where the clutch slave cylinder is by. Any ideas on the cause? Or is it I need a new slave cylinder?

It sounds like a throwout bearing has failed. It will require removal of the trans and a clutch replacement.

It is very labor intensive as the trans axle has to be removed.

We do the whole job for 599 parts and labor.

I work for pepboys, a good one out here in phila, pa. Anyone of them should be in the ball park as it is a menu item. They have a lifetime warranty on parts and 1 year on the labor.
