4 wheel drive not working

My 4 wheel drive engages but when I turn it basically locks up my tires. I know they dont turn the same when in 4 wheel to begin with but this is way out of the norm

Either have your axles checked or you check them for joint problem in axle shaft. See pic sith arrows. If you have torn boots or see grease around that area then your shafts need replacing or new joints which you'll find cheaper to replace shafts.
