2005 Dodge Durango

I was backing out of a parking space when my truck didn't seem like it wanted to "go". I put it in drive and it "jumped" a little (never stalled) and then the check engine light came on. I drove it home with no problems nor did any other lights come on. What is going on?

The check engine light indicates a problem. Have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes. They will direct you to the problem. If you get them and need help, let me know what they are.
