I just swapped engines in my truck. I went to crank it up and got nothing. I'm getting power at the starter but not to the starter solenoid wire (S). I can jump the relay and it will turn over. The crank fuse is getting power when I turn the key but I'm out getting any power to the Neutral safety switch. Truck also doesn't have the (key in the ignition door open) buzzer going off. What could be the problem?

Hi,

First, I attached the wiring schematic below and highlighted fuses I need you to check. The schematic is one page long, but I had to cut it in half to make it readable for you. I did overlap them so you can go from one to the next.

The two fuses I need to be checked are highlighted. Also, if you look at pic 3, I attached the fuse box under the hood and highlighted which to check.

When checking, also check to confirm there is power to the fuses. Here is a link you may find helpful:

Also, check the starter relay. I circled that in the box. If there is a different relay with the same part number, switch them. If there isn't, here is a link that shows how to test one:

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
