The blower motor on my 2004 Grand Prix stopped working the other day. It had been a little noisy on low speeds for some time now. I pulled the cover off and tapped the blower motor and it came on. Good so far but is it going or is there some other problem?

Also I havent had very hot air coming out for quite some time. Do you think heater core ot thermostat?

As far as the motor, it sounds like it is going bad. The heat issue is different. Make sure the engine is running at a normal operating temp, make sure the coolant is full, feel both heater core hoses when the engine is hot, running, and the heater is on. Both hoses should be hot. If they are, chances are the blend door needs adjusted. If only one is hot, flush the heater core.
