Yesterday I noticed I had a wrench light appear on my 2004 Ford Explorer. When I came to a complete stop it was almost like my vehicle was hesitating to get going again. I turned my vehicle off and then back on again and the light was no longer on. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

Thank you!

Take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. The light is on because the computer has picked up on a problem.

Let me know what they tell you.

The last few days my car has been running a little rough while in idle. Yesterday the service engin soon light came on and is still on. I took my car in for an oil chage today and they said that the oil was a little low and that they had to top off the coolant. I also have always used arco gas but in my last fuel up, I used shell gas instead and it was right after that I started with the problem.

The check engine light indicates that there are trouble codes stored by the vehicle's computer. You will need to retrieve these trouble codes to help pinpoint the culprit. Most part stores will get the codes from your vehicle free of charge.

DTC P0316 : Misfire During First 1,000 Revs After Start-Up

This is normally caused by faulty spark plug wires. I suggest having your vehicle's plugs and plug wires replaced and then have the trouble code deleted.
