Hi, my 2004 1.3i Ford bantam seems to be leaking oil from the sump pulley, could it be the seal? And how do I repair/replace it.

The front pulley seal will be leaking, you will have to remove the pulley and often you will find that the seal surface on the pulley is scored and the pulley will also have to be replaced, now the problem I have is that I am in Australia, working for an American website using there data base and it does not mention a Ford bantam, I am not familiar with the set up of this model to give you any instructions on replacing the pulley and seal.

Basically. If the engine is east west, take the splash plate off and belts and the pulley will normally be held on with a bolt, if a north south, (radiator, engine trans in a line) remove radiator and then same as other engine, I hope that this helps you a bit as well.
