I let my car warm up in the morning, then I turn the heater on. It blows out hot air at first then it cools down. I wait about 5 min then do it again, the same thing happens. It never stays hot longer than 5 min

If the engine is running at a normal operating temp and the coolant is full, do this. With the engine running, hot, heat on high, feel both heater core hoses. If both are hot, have the blend door checked for operation. If they are not hot, flush the heater core.
